Lans is situated at the foot of the famous mountain „Patscherkofel“, venue of the Olympic Wintergames 1964 and 1976. Only 6km south of Innsbruck, Lans is surrounded by the natural beauty of the stunning tyrolean mountainscape. Its traditional restaurants are well renowned for their personal hospitality and culinary treasures.
In and around Lans you will find a great variety of leisure activities: Mountains and forests are close by, the Lanser Lake, tennis, minigolf, the city of Innsbruck and many more provide relaxation and inspiration.
The master-classes will be held at the local school, concerts take place at the hotel ballroom of the „Isserwirt“.
Students will be accomodated at the „Isserwirt“ Hotel & Restaurant, which dates back to 1313 and has been family run by the Raitmayrs for 14 generations. The mixture of that great personal tradition and the first-rate accomodation guarantees a unique atmosphere for your stay in Lans.
How to get there?
You can reach Innsbruck by train or car in an easy 2-3 hours from Munich, Zürich, Verona, or Salzburg.
It´s only a 15 minute busride from Innsbruck to Lans: The IVB (Innsbrucker Verkehrsbetriebe) provides half-hourly service with the „J“-line, and the ÖBB-bus departs from the train station hourly (the stop in Lans is at the doorstep of the „Isserwirt“!).
